About Common Partners

Founded by people who've actually done the work.

Common Partners exists because the people who built it got tired of watching the same problem repeat itself — companies spending months interviewing candidates who looked right on paper but couldn't perform in the actual environment, and IT professionals landing in roles that looked nothing like what they were sold. We started this firm to fix that.

Two perspectives. One focused firm.

Common Partners is structured around a simple idea — every search benefits from someone who knows how to find and evaluate talent, and someone who can technically validate what they're looking at. That's not common in the recruiting industry. It's the core of how we're built.

Co-Founder — Recruiting Lead

IT Talent Placement · 30+ Years Industry Experience

With over 30 years in IT talent placement, our recruiting lead has built a career doing one thing exceptionally well — identifying technology professionals who succeed long-term, not just ones who interview well. She's worked across infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, support operations, and IT leadership.

Her approach to client relationships is direct and practical. She's not interested in flooding your inbox with submittals — she's interested in sending you three candidates who are genuinely worth interviewing. That philosophy is why clients come back, and why candidates refer people to her even years after a placement.

Starting Common Partners is the natural next step — building a firm that operates with the same values she's held throughout her career, with full ownership over how searches are run and how people are treated.

Co-Founder — Technical Operations

IT Infrastructure & Operations · 30+ Years Industry Experience

With over 30 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, and technical operations, our technical co-founder brings a level of domain expertise to recruiting that's genuinely rare. He has designed, built, secured, and managed IT environments across industries — running everything from endpoint management and network architecture to Microsoft 365 deployments and cybersecurity operations.

His role at Common Partners is the technical backbone of the business — and the technical gut-check on every candidate we consider. When a candidate claims deep Azure experience or says they've built out an IAM program, he knows what to ask to validate it.

He also runs the firm's technology infrastructure — website, systems, integrations, and the tooling that lets a two-person firm operate with the efficiency of a larger one.

Our Approach

Permanent placement only. No shortcuts, no volume plays.

We made a deliberate decision to focus exclusively on permanent placement. Not temp-to-hire. Not contract. Not staffing augmentation. That focus isn't a limitation — it's a discipline. It means every search we take on is one we're committed to running all the way through, and every candidate we work with deserves an outcome that's built to last.

Permanent placement done well is relationship-intensive. It requires understanding the employer's culture, the team dynamics, the technical environment, and what the person in the role will actually deal with day to day. We do all of that — and we believe it's why placements hold.

We work with mid-size companies, startups, enterprise organizations, and government agencies. Our MBE and SBE certifications open additional doors for clients whose procurement programs require or prefer certified minority-owned suppliers.

How we show up on every search

Certified, committed, and locally rooted in Los Angeles.

Our minority-owned business certifications are more than credentials — they're a signal to enterprise and government clients that we've met the standards required to serve as a qualified diversity supplier.

MBE

Minority Business Enterprise

Pending certification through the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) — Southern California region. MBE certification is recognized by Fortune 500 and enterprise procurement programs nationwide as a qualified diversity supplier credential.

SBE

Small Business Enterprise

Pending certification through the California Department of General Services. SBE certification opens state government procurement opportunities and qualifies Common Partners for set-aside contracts and supplier diversity programs across California.

LA

City of Los Angeles Certification

Pending certification through the City of LA's Business Assistance for Communities office. Covers City of LA contracts and local enterprise supplier diversity programs — making Common Partners a qualified partner for municipal and regional government clients.

For companies with supplier diversity commitments — whether mandated by procurement policy or driven by organizational values — working with Common Partners directly supports those goals. We're a qualified partner for programs that require or prefer certified minority-owned vendors, and we operate at the same level of professionalism as any firm regardless of size.
